Wild Adventure FAQs

 

Time slots are currently being released to book your Wild Adventure up to 5 days in advance.

Wild Adventure is Phase 1 of Safari Niagara’s reopening of the park. We are currently working to open the Zoo Walk Through as Phase 2, in accordance with ministry and government guidelines. This DriveThru Zoo experience allows guests to enjoy the sights and sounds of Safari Niagara from the comfort and safety of their own vehicle. This tour is a 3.4km drive, accompanied by a guided podcast, and takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete. 

Safari Niagara’s Wild Adventure is open to the public:
Monday to Thursday | 9 am to 5 pm
Friday to Sunday | 9 am to 7 pm.

Tickets can be purchased online ONLY at safariniagara.com/wildadventure. This is a time-ticketed event, so be sure to book your tickets in advance of your arrival.

Members: FREE, with proof of membership at the gate. Additional charge of $15 upon arrival per non-member person in your vehicle.

Non-Members: $50 per vehicle

Safari Niagara Members can enjoy a FREE Wild Adventure Experience with proof of membership. If members wish to bring additional non-members, there will be a $15/person charge, payable upon arrival.

The duration of the Zoo DriveThru is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. There are 15-minute slots available for booking to ensure that vehicles are well spread apart to enjoy the safari experience.

Guests will be able to download the Wild Adventure podcast to accompany their tour through the zoo. The podcast “Wild Adventure” is available for download on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and Soundcloud at safariniagara.com/wildadventure.

Vehicle dimensions must not exceed a height of 7 feet and a width of 9 feet. Vans, Jeeps and pickup trucks are allowed to visit the DriveThru. Motorcycles are not permitted on the drive-thru route.

For guest safety, all tailgate, van/car doors, roofs and hatchbacks must remain closed at all times.

We recommend use of seat belts and proper use of car seats, as regulated by the MTO in the province of Ontario. Please remain in your vehicle at all times.

Please leave pets at home as they are not permitted on zoo grounds.

Food is available for purchase on-site and will be delivered to visitors’ vehicles to abide by best social distancing practices. You can check out the menu here!

Washrooms will only be available prior to the Wild Adventure, and are located in the zoo’s main parking lot.

At Safari Niagara, we always put the health and welfare of our animals first. The animals are accustomed to the regular use of vehicles through our park, as our Summer tram system runs continuously on the same route.

To ensure the health and safety of the Safari Niagara community, our best physical distancing practices have been put in place. All visitors must remain inside of their vehicles at all times, with the exception of portable restrooms available for use in the parking lot. Only members of the same household should travel in the same vehicle. Do not participate in the drive thru if you or anyone in the household is exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 or self isolating. As we begin to transition our facilities into unique, innovative and safe experiences at Safari Niagara, our team will continue to follow guidelines from Niagara Public Health and Canada Public Health.
