HOW WE’RE TAKING CARE AND KEEPING SAFE:
Please note that proof of vaccination is not required for admission to Safari Niagara at this time, per the Province of Ontario’s Vaccination Plan. Currently, proof of vaccination is only required for indoor non-essential businesses. To ensure the health and safety of the Safari Niagara community, our best physical distancing practices have been put in place. We are increasing cleaning of high-touch surfaces, sanitation and handwashing stations, posting social distancing signage and screening staff before they come to work.
For our activities and attractions, we have limited the number of guests allowed to participate at this time, implemented scheduled sanitation practices between guest use and have increased social distancing measures before, during and after the activities. In addition, we have implemented time-ticketed entry with a one-way directional flow in specific signed areas to limit guest capacity. We encourage all guests to adhere to the updated recommendations set in place by the Province of Ontario.
Keep Your Distance
All guests are encouraged to stay 6 feet apart from each other. This is indicated throughout the park with distancing signage at gathering areas. We have also implemented spaced seating at picnic tables.
Masks are mandatory in the retail shop, at all Keeper Talks, Budgies, Petting Zoo, on the Giraffe Deck and the Gator Express Tram. Please bring your own mask if you wish to participate in these activities. All guests including children of all ages are required to wear a mask on the Giraffe Deck.
Not only have we increased our washroom cleaning schedule, we have implemented a strict “Three (3) people at a Time” washroom policy. Masks are mandatory when inside the washroom.
Please stay home if you or a member of your family is not feeling well. We are screening all of our employees before they come to work to help stop the spread. Keep an eye out for our Wellness Check signage at our park entrance.
Gator Express Tram
The Gator Express Tram is operating under additional restrictions and guidelines. Masks are mandatory while riding the tram.
Hand Washing Stations
Our team has installed hand washing stations and hand sanitizer units throughout the park. All guests are encouraged to wash their hands often, for 20 seconds at a time.
Splash Pad Regulations
The Splash Pad operating under additional restrictions and guidelines, put in place by the Province of Ontario. by Saturday, June 12. In addition, social distancing is self-monitored and we sanitize the area every 2 hours.
To limit the capacity of our park, and reduce gathering in large groups, we have implemented one-way traffic throughout Safari Niagara. This includes separate entrance and exit rows with directional signage.
For the safety of our guests, employees and animals, we have enhanced our cleaning measures in the park. This includes ALL activities, exhibits, attractions, dining locations, washrooms, Guest Services and the Gift Shop.
Masks ARE MANDATORY for all guests to wear when attending our shows. Please bring your own mask if you wish to participate in these activities. Our team is limiting the capacity of guests permitted inside for all shows, enforcing our social distancing protocol and sanitizing the space after each show.
Food Service Protocols
Our food locations are open, and operating with under enhanced sanitation measures. We have created rows, with signage for customers to social distance while ordering food. Our picnic tables are spaced out and regularly cleaned between guests.
