Yes! We do require guests to book a time slot to participate on the SkyQuest ropes course and the SkyTykes course. Along with limiting the number of climbers this is how we are ensuring safe social distancing between our guests and staff.

Drop by SkyQuest at the beginning of your visit to book your time, and ensure you won’t be disappointed! We appreciate your cooperation.

Wearing a mask is not mandatory at Safari Niagara, however, guests ARE required to wear a mask in the following areas:
Giraffe Deck
Gator Express Tram
Retail Shop
Budgie Exhibit
Petting Zoo
All Keeper Talks and Shows

Masks are available to purchase for $1 at admission, the Gift Shop, the Red Parrot Food Truck and on the Giraffe Deck.

No, Safari Niagara members will be given priority entry through Guest Services without having to book a time slot in advance online.

Our washrooms are open to the public inside the park, with added social distancing measures and including a one-directional flow of traffic. In addition, only one family group is permitted to use the washrooms at a time.

The Splash Pad will be open under increased rules, in accordance with the Province of Ontario’s Phase 2 Reopening regulations. All high-touch devices will be blocked off, and social distancing is to be self monitored.

Safari Niagara is a 150-acre nature park with over 1000 domestic and exotic animals, birds and reptiles, located only 10 minutes from Niagara Falls.

Safari Niagara is the ultimate summer fun destination offering a completely interactive and physical distancing friendly experience with activities for all ages.

In accordance with the Province of Ontario’s Phase 3 Reopening regulations, the following attractions will be open from 11am-4:30pm, weekends only:

Sky Quest ropes course
Petting zoo
Splash pad (with restrictions) – closes September 14th
Paddle boats
Pedal cars

Bounce-A-Rooz

In accordance with the Province of Ontario’s Phase 3 Reopening regulations, we have been able to open all activities, attractions and keeper talk shows!

The park will be open 7 days a week, from 10am to 5pm.

Our attractions are open from 11am to 4:30pm.

Our admission booth closes one hour before park closing and last admittance to the park is at 4pm.

To ensure the health and safety of the Safari Niagara community, our best physical distancing practices have been put in place. We have increased the regular cleaning of high-touch surfaces, installed sanitation and handwashing stations, posted social distancing signage and will be screening our staff before they come to work. We have implemented time-ticketed entry, with a one-way directional flow to limit guest capacity.

Do not attend Safari Niagara if you or anyone in the household is exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 or self isolating. As we continue to transition our facilities into unique, innovative and safe experiences at Safari Niagara, our team will continue to follow guidelines from Niagara Public Health, the Province of Ontario, and Canada Public Health. 

Food will be available for purchase at the park, with walk-up counter service. We have implemented one-way directional traffic for lines to ensure guests stay 6ft a part, in addition to added sanitation measures and guidelines at all dining locations.

Day Rates are as follows:


Adult: $34.95 +HST
Senior: $30.95 +HST
Child (3 – 12): $29.95 +HST
Children Under 2: Free

Tickets can be purchased online ONLY. Safari Niagara’s walk through experience will be a time-ticketed event, so be sure to book your tickets in advance of your arrival.

Guests are encouraged to purchase their tickets in ADVANCE, and online. This will ensure that you get a spot inside the Safari for a visit on the day of your choice.

Yes, you can pack your own food to bring into the park with the exception of glass, alcohol beverages and BBQ’s. We also offer food on-site at various food locations throughout Safari Niagara, find out more about our food options at Food & Beverage.

Yes, same-day re-entry into Safari Niagara is allowed with a valid wristband.

Our admission booth closes one hour before park closing and last admittance to the park is at 4pm.

Wagons are available to rent. Unfortunately strollers and wheelchairs are unavailable for rent at this time.

Safari Niagara has over 1,000 mammals, birds, and reptiles at their location. To learn more about the animals we have please visit our Meet the Animals page.

For the health of our guests, staff, and animals, Safari Niagara is a smoke-free environment. Vaping is not permitted inside the park. Visitors will be required to extinguish all smoking materials, including e-cigarettes, before entering the park grounds.

Yes, Safari Niagara is open rain or shine. However, some of our attractions are dependent on the weather and will close under certain conditions. To check what is open before your visit give us a call at 905-382-9669.

Safari Niagara will provide free admission for support workers to customers with special needs. Please provide the Access 2 card at Guest Services.

Accredited trained service dogs accompanied by their respective owners, will be permitted under specified conditions in designated areas of a zoo. Safari Niagara asks that all service dogs be vaccinated against rabies, canine, distemper, leptospirosis, parvovirus, and canine adenoviruses (CAV-2) within the past year. Service dogs will also be free of internal and external parasites. Proof of vaccinations from the dogs’ veterinarian must accompany the dog and satisfactory prior to admittance into the park.
