What is Safari Niagara?
Safari Niagara is a 150-acre nature park with over 1000 domestic and exotic animals, birds and reptiles, located only 10 minutes from Niagara Falls. Safari Niagara is the ultimate summer fun destination offering a completely interactive experience with educational keeper talks, activities for all ages, animal feedings and a petting farm.

How much is admission to Safari Niagara?
What are Safari Niagara’s Hours of Operation?
Visit our Hours of Operation page to learn more about Safari Niagara’s operating hours. Our closing time states what time guests must leave the park. Our admission booth closes one hour before park closing and no admittance is permitted after that time.
Why are there different prices for different months?
Safari Niagara offers a shoulder season rate (May 12 – 31, September 4 – October 8) and in season rate (June 1 – September 4). During our off season not all of our attractions and activities are available so a reduced admission rate is issued to compensate.
What does a day admission to Safari Niagara include?
Your day admission is all-inclusive and gives you unlimited access to all daily educational keeper talks as well as activities. Please note activities are open from June 1 – Sept 3, weather permitting. Behind-The-Scenes tours are an additional cost.
Is re-entry allowed at Safari Niagara?
Yes, same day re-entry into Safari Niagara is allowed with a valid wristband.
Do You Rent Strollers/Wheelchairs/Wagons?
Safari Niagara offers wagon rentals. Wagon rentals are $10.00 per wagon. Upon return of your wagon you will receive a $5.00 refund on your wagon rental cost. Unfortunately, at this time we do not offer stroller/wheelchair rentals.
What Kind of Animals Do You Have? Can I Pet The Animals?
Safari Niagara has over 1,000 mammals, birds and reptiles at their location. To learn more about the animals we have please visit our Meet the Animals page. We do not allow guests to feed, pet or interact with most of our animals. Some areas of the park allow you to get closer with the animals such as Papa Steve’s Family Farm and the Walk Through Budgie Exhibit. Is smoking permitted at Safari Niagara?
Safari Niagara offers two designated smoking areas within the park grounds. We ask that you only smoke in these specified areas which can be located on your park map that you receive upon entrance to Safari Niagara.
How much is a season membership to Safari Niagara?
Child Memberships: $60.00 + HST
Adult Memberships: $70.00 + HST

What does a season membership include?

I am visiting the park the night of a concert; does my admission include concert tickets?
No, Safari Niagara and Safari Niagara Amphitheatre are two different entities. A park pass is only valid for the park and will not provide access to any concerts.
It is raining, are you open?
Yes, Safari Niagara is open rain or shine. However, some of our attractions are dependent on the weather and will close under certain conditions. To check what is open before your visit give us a call at 905-382-9669.
Can I bring food into the park? Do you offer food?
Yes, you can pack your own food to bring into the park with the exception of glass, alcohol beverages and BBQ’s. We also offer food on-site at various food locations throughout Safari Niagara, find out more about our food options at Food & Beverage.
Can I drive my own vehicle throughout the park?
No, personal vehicles are not permitted in the park. Guests can either take our Gator Express tram system that will take you through the park or walk around themselves. The tram is included in your day admission and season membership.
Can I feed the animals?
Yes, you can feed the animals food that is provided at the park. Here at the park, our animals get only the best nutritious foods to keep them healthy. Please keep people food to yourself as it could be harmful to our animals. Our energy treats are carefully prepared for specific diets to keep our animals healthy. Vending machines are located at various locations throughout the park.
What are the metal sculptures throughout the park grounds?
Rod Dowling is the creator of Canada’s largest steel sculpture collection by one artist, on exhibit indefinitely at Safari Niagara. As you stroll through the grounds of Safari Niagara, you will see various steel sculptures of all shapes, sizes and colours. They were all created by this one prolific artist.
Is Safari Niagara fully accessible?

Do accessibility workers receive free admission?
Safari Niagara will provide free admission for support workers to customers with special needs.
Are service animals welcomed at Safari Niagara?
Accredited trained service dogs accompanied by their respective owners, will be permitted under specified conditions in designated areas of a zoo. Safari Niagara asks that all service dogs be vaccinated against rabies, canine, distemper, leptospirosis, parvovirus, and canine adenoviruses (CAV-2) within the past year. Service dogs will also be free of internal and external parasites. Proof of vaccinations from the dogs’ veterinarian must accompany the dog and satisfactory prior to admittance into the park.
