October Means BOO AT THE ZOO!
Two Weekends of Halloween Fun!
Get your costumes ready! Boo at the Zoo returns this October for one of Safari Niagara’s most anticipated family events of the year.
Trick-or-treat your way through the park with more than 100 local vendors handing out treats, and enjoy Halloween-themed activities, seasonal photo opportunities, music, dancing and our daily costume contests.
New This Year — A Second Weekend!
Due to popular demand, we’ve added an extra weekend of Halloween fun!

Please note: Safari Niagara will be closed on Thanksgiving Monday, October 12.

Trick-or-Treat Through the Park
Dress up in your favourite costume and trick-or-treat your way through Safari Niagara! With more than 100 local vendors throughout the park, there will be plenty of treats and Halloween fun for the whole family.

Daily Costume Contests

Costume contests take place daily at Wonders of Flight:
11:00 AM — Ages 0–3
11:30 AM — Ages 4–7
12:00 PM — Ages 8–12
12:30 PM — Ages 13+ & Group Costumes
Music, Dancing & Halloween Fun

Thanks for Giving Back!
Boo at the Zoo is about treats, costumes and family fun — but it’s also a chance to give back to our community.
We’ll be collecting non-perishable food donations throughout Boo at the Zoo in support of our local food bank.
Guests are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item with them when they visit. Every donation helps support individuals and families in our community.

Good to Know Before You Go
Trams will not be running during Boo at the Zoo.
Some animals may not be on exhibit during the event due to dietary restrictions and the risk of unauthorized feeding.
