You can go fly a kite at Safari Niagara.
It's a free feature with your paid day admission or season pass. Borrow one of our brightly coloured kites or bring your own. We've got plenty of open space for everyone.
Kite flying is a fun way to spend time with the family.
Kite-flying seems fun and easy, however, there are safety issues involved, both at Safari Niagara and in your community. You must always take special cautions when flying kites where they can become entangled with electrical power lines, causing power blackouts and running the risk of electrocuting the kite flier. Wet kite lines or wire can act as a conductor for static electricity and lightning when the weather is stormy. Kites with large surface areas or powerful lift can lift kite fliers off the ground or drag them into stationary objects. In urban areas there is usually a ceiling on how high a kite can be flown, to prevent the kite and line infringing on the airspace of helicopters and light aircraft.
